Welcome to Late In Life Parents, where we attempt to distill important, financially-oriented information that is particularly important to relatively new parents who happen to be “later in life” than their 30-something counterparts.
Our mission is to help readers consider logical financial planning strategies that transcend the basics (but not by much) found in most investment newsletters and magazines. We know you’re probably smart enough to avoid 21% credit card loans and profligate spending, but might not know the best way to navigate retirement planning in combination with the maneuvers required in putting kids through college.
We’ll also arrange concepts in ways not usually found in the daily flow of news and commentary. There are plenty of thoughts out there, but we’ll try to limit ideas to those that are applicable to parents who are a little late … by design.
Please offer your ideas on topics that may prove beneficial to parents with no time to lose. We’d love to hear from you.
